Nuevamente les traigo otro fic re-editado :D Perdonen los posibles errores de dedo.

Los personajes son de Masami Kurumada, excepto Aram de Géminis. Es mi Oc, no tiene mucha relevancia, solo es mencionado un par de veces por los mini saints. La imagen no me pertenece.

Aclaraciones: Para mí, Saga de Géminis es la reencarnación de Ares, se me hace mas cool (aparte ¡Ares es mi dios fav!) En cuanto a la apariencia me tome la libertad de teñirle el pelo de negro (se ve más sexy, mortífero, grrrr).

"Te quiero"

"Tener un hermano menor conlleva a la locura, al enojo, la rabia contenida y las culpas ajenas. Un hermanito menor tiene el poder de desesperarte con su sola presencia... Pero también..."

La ventana retumbo con fiereza y el rayo ilumino tenebrosamente el pequeño lugar, causándole escalofríos de pies a cabeza al pequeño Kanon. No le gustaban las tormentas, ni nada que tuviese aspecto tenebroso o terrorífico.

A sus cinco años de edad era comprensible que aún viese monstruos debajo de la cama, en el armario o en el obscuro pasillo. Pensó el niño de cabellos azules, que rozaban apenas sus hombros. Otro espantoso trueno cayó y Kanon volvió a temblar.

Sin pensárselo dos veces, encendió la vela que descansaba en su mesilla y tomo su almohada, dispuesto a salir de ahí. Sus pies tocaron el frío suelo y con pasos decididos se encamino a la puerta, procurando hacer el menor ruido posible para no despertar a su maestro.

De puntitas, con almohada y vela en mano, se acercó a la habitación colindante a la suya y abrió con la misma delicadeza anterior.

Ahí era reinaba la paz, a pesar de que afuera hubiese un vendaval. Se acerco despacito hasta la cama que aguardaba a su hermano gemelo, quien dormía plácidamente, ignorante a lo que acontecía a su alrededor.

Sus labios entreabiertos y el tranquilo y relajante vaivén de su pecho así lo demostraban. Sus cabellos más obscuros que los de Kanon lucían esparcidos por la almohada, contrastando su bonito azul con el blanco de esta. Parecía un ángel, un tierno ángel.

Kanon dejo caer la almohada y deposito la vela en la mesilla, acto seguido acaricio el flequillo del mayor con delicadeza para después asestarle un golpe en la frente, asustando al otro por tremendo impacto.

—¡Nos atacan! —grito Saga, levantándose como un resorte quedando sentado, mirando de un lado a otro—¡Nos at…! —Kanon se apresuró a taparle la boca y se situó frente a él.

Kanon aparto una mano del rostro de su gemelo y se llevó un dedo a los labios que tenían una sonrisa traviesa. Aunque por dentro estaba que se moría por echarse a reír cual hiena por la reacción de su igual.

—Shh… —le dijo en voz extremadamente bajita —Nos puede oír el maestro Aram.

Con rapidez aparto la mano de Kanon, parpadeando varias veces para adaptar su mirada a la oscuridad.

—¿Kanon? —murmuró, imitando el mismo tono que el menor —¿Qué haces aquí? ¿Estás loco? —Kanon sonrió y se encogió de hombros despreocupado.

—Quizás. —respondió, dejando de ver su gemelo, buscando dentro de sí mismo el valor para formular la petición que temía fuera rechazada —Y la razón por la que estoy aquí es para pedirte que me dejes dormir contigo.

Saga cerro los ojos con lentitud —Kanon… —se restregó el rostro con ambas manos ¿Para eso lo despertaba a mitad de la noche? —Ya te he dicho que no hay monstruos bajo la cama.

—No es eso. —entrompo los labios, arrugo el entrecejo y se cruzó de brazos a la altura del pecho mirando con seriedad al mayor.

—¿Entonces? —inquirió Saga imitando su postura, arqueo una ceja con suavidad.

Apenas le iba a contestar cuando un relámpago ilumino la habitación y un trueno hizo eco en cada rincón. Kanon salto de su lugar, buscando refugio en los brazos de su gemelo.

De un momento a otro Saga se encontraba luchando desesperadamente por respirar y no caerse al suelo, pues su hermano se aferraba con fuerza a su cuello, sus piernas se habían situado alrededor de su cintura impidiéndole zafarse de su agarre de hierro.

—Qui..ta..te… —logro decir, entre jadeos —me…ahor…cas…

Kanon se apartó de inmediato, sus mejillas se tornaron rojas por haber mostrado de manera exagerada su debilidad.

—Perdón… —dijo, mirando con pena al mayor que se sobaba el cuello —Es que…

—No… —alzo una mano para interrumpirle, después de toser un par de veces prosiguió —no necesito más explicaciones.

—¿Entonces puedo dormir contigo? —pregunto ya esperanzado. El brillo en sus ojitos hizo que a Saga se le hiciera tripas corazón. No podía decir que no a esa carita.

En respuesta, Saga se apartó un poco, alzo la sábana que le cobijaba y palmeo un par de veces el colchón.

Sin esperar un minuto más, Kanon se acostó rápidamente y se cubrió con las mantas hasta el cuello, dejando solo su rostro al descubierto. Se removió un poco y arrugo la frente.

—No me gusta dormir en la orilla. —le informo a su gemelo, el cual solo rodo los ojos y sin decirle nada se encaramo sobre él, dándole un brusco empujón le indico que se hiciera a un lado, Kanon lo hizo, quedando pegado a la pared colindante a la cama —Gracias. —se volvió a cobijar como antes, Saga ladeo el rostro un poco curioso —Desde que dormimos en cuartos separados empecé a cobijarme hasta el cuello porque me daba miedo que un monstruo me jalara de los pies.

Saga solamente asintió ante su argumento, se acostó cubriéndose hasta la cintura con la manta compartida y apago la vela que estaba en su mesilla, quedando totalmente a oscuras.

—Hazte para allá. —dijo Kanon, dándole un pequeño empujón para conseguir espacio. Saga le empujo de regreso, un poco molesto.

—No, estoy casi en la orilla… Aparta, aparta… —le respondió, dando un par de manotazos. Y no mentía, estaba al borde del colchón y no tenía ganas de saludar al suelo por culpa de su hermano —Cabemos perfectamente los dos, así que cállate y duerme.

—Dame manta. —con fuerza tironeo de la tela que les cubría, dejando a su gemelo descobijado. El mayor simplemente se encogió de hombros, cederle la cobija no le provocaba ningún problema, total, el siempre despertaba descobijado todas las mañanas —No, mejor cobíjate. —y con rudeza le cobijo hasta el cuello. Saga pataleo un par de veces para colocar la sábana en su posición anterior; a la altura de su cintura.

—Ya Kanon. —dijo sin ocultar el enfado en su tierna voz. Ese era el problema de quedarse con su hermano, hacia drama por todo y parecía un maldito gusano —Duerme, mañana hay que madrugar para ir a entrenar. —soltando un resoplido se dio la vuelta, dándole la espalda a su gemelo.

Kanon contemplo por un par de minutos la espalda de Saga, suspiro y se colocó boca arriba, mirando el techo que le cobijaba, de vez en cuando se iluminaba por los relámpagos. Los truenos aun le hacían estremecer, pero no como antes que le daban ganas de soltarse a llorar. Estando con Saga sabía que nada malo podía pasarle. Su gemelo lo cuidaría de todo y de todos, pues él no le temía a nada.

Bueno, él ya le había revelado sus dos temores… ¿A que le temía Saga? A la lluvia lo dudaba, ya que lo encontró durmiendo en calma a pesar de la tormenta. Por un momento se dijo que le preguntaría en cuánto el sol saliera, pero sabía bien que su naturaleza curiosa le impediría conciliar el sueño hasta descubrir la respuesta a esa incógnita.

—Saga… —al cabo de unos minutos de silencio, hablo.

—¿Mmm? —murmuro con voz adormilada.

—A ti no te da miedo la lluvia ¿Verdad? —pregunto el pequeño peliazul.

—No. —le respondió sin abrir sus ojos.

—Yo si le tengo miedo. —informo, como si el otro no supiera.

—Ya lo sé, Kanon. Ya lo sé. —le respondió con voz cansada. Quería dormir no platicar.

—Saga ¿A qué le tienes miedo tú?

—Ya lo sabes. —bufó, molesto.

—Ya se me olvido.

—Micky Mouse. —dijo, para que al fin su hermano se callara y lo dejara en paz —Disneyland… Todos los dibujos animados que tengan que ver con ese ratón.

—¿Por qué? —le pregunto.

—Porque en nuestro cumpleaños a un mocoso baboso se le ocurrió pedirle al Patriarca Shion que nos llevara a ese lugar. —respondió, abrazándose así mismo de solo recordar ese episodio —Y ese mismo mocoso se perdió en menos de dos horas y resulta que estaba con esa cosa.

Kanon reprimió los deseos de reír. Ese día recordaba perfectamente que siguió al simpático hombre disfrazado de ratón para pedirle una foto y conocer su casa, tan distraído iba que no se dio cuenta que perdió de vista a Shion y Saga. En lugar de asustarse acudió con Minnie y Micky Mouse para pedir ayuda. Ambos lo llevaron a una especie de cabaña en lo que localizaban a sus parientes. Cuando llegaron Saga iba hecho un mar de llanto por haberlo perdido. No le dio tiempo de explicarle cuando él mayor de los dos dedujo erróneamente que esas botargas lo habían secuestrado.

Shion tuvo que sacar a Saga sobre su hombro mientras este pataleaba por bajarse y correr a golpear a los personajes. Desde ese día Saga adquirió una terrible fobia a esas cosas.

La sonrisa se borró de su rostro. ¿Cómo pudo olvidarlo?

—Ya no recuerdes eso. —le pidió, dándole una ligera caricia en el hombro —Perdona por traer malos recuerdos.

—Sí… Hasta mañana, Kanon.

—Hasta mañana, Saga.

Pero ahora el pequeño Kanon se sentía culpable por traerle no gratos recuerdos a su gemelo. Quizá si lo distrajera con una plática trivial.

—Saga…

—¿Eh? —dio un resoplido, ¿De dónde podía apagar a su hermano?

—¿Sabías que los gatos pueden pasar catorce horas seguidas durmiendo?

—No lo sabía. —farfullo —En estos momentos me gustaría ser un gato para dormir esa cantidad de horas, pero como soy un simple niño con mucho sueño te pido que me dejes dormir, aunque sean seis horas. Solo eso te pido. —imploro, con la esperanza de que Kanon se quedara callado.

—A mí me gustaría ser un perro. —respondió el otro ignorándole —Eso sí, que mi pelaje sea del mismo color que mi cabello. —tomo un corto mechón entre sus dedos, enroscándolo y tratando de verlo en la oscuridad —Seria un perrito muy mono ¿No crees?

—No, no serias muy mono, serias un perro antinatural.

—Sería un perro muy bonito, aunque digas lo contrario. —ladeo el rostro y miro a su gemelo, sacando la lengua. Saga seguía dándole la espalda, así que no vio su gesto —¿Tienes sueño?

—Sí, ya deja de molestar y duérmete, Kanon.

—Mjum. —balbuceo, sin dejar de mirar el techo, pensando que de cachorro si se vería muy bonito.

Varios minutos pasaron y un bostezo se escapó de sus labios anunciando la llegada del sueño, pero la infantil e imaginativa mente de Kanon aún no se quería rendir al cansancio que había acumulado durante ese día. Un nuevo bostezo le asalto y le hizo saber que no duraría mucho tiempo despierto, así que decidió informarle a Saga.

—Sagaaa… —el mencionado reprimió las ganas de soltar un gruñido. Intento modular su tono de voz, aunque fallo estrepitosamente.

—¿Qué?

—Ya tengo mucho sueño. —como un gato se estiro en su sitio, dio un par de golpes y se acomodó, soltando un gustoso suspiro.

—Ya duérmete entonces. Haz el intento de dormir. —le dijo, con reproche.

—Lo estoy intentando. —se defendió.

—Si, claro, se nota. —bufó, entreabriendo los ojos.

—Sagaa…

—¿Qué? —murmuro entre dientes, el sueño que tenia se le estaba yendo por culpa del compañero de cama.

—Ya que tú eres muy inteligente me ayudaras a resolver esto; ¿Qué puedes encontrar en medio de cada mes?

—No sé, Kanon, no sé.

—En medio de cada mes esta la letra "E" —sonrió Kanon, sintiéndose un poco más listo que Saga por saber algo que él desconocía

—¿Quieres hacerme el favor de dormirte de una vez por todas?

El silencio se hizo presente por unos momentos, un silencio que se le hizo una deliciosa música para los oídos de Saga.

Música que fue interrumpida por la voz que en esos momentos consideraba la más irritante, fastidiosa y molesta del mundo entero.

—Sagaaa… —al ver que no contesto dedujo que estaba enojado, quizá por su presencia —¿Estas molesto por qué estoy aquí contigo?

—No, por eso no estoy enfadado. —resoplo, dándose la vuelta para mirar a su hermano. Kanon ladeo el rostro y le miro con absoluta seriedad —Estoy enojado porque no te callas y no me dejas dormir.

—Entonces… —un tercer bostezo le interrumpió —Ya me quedo callado. —dijo en voz muy bajita, que apenas y Saga le entendió.

—Sí, es lo mejor. —le respondió, poniéndose boca arriba, dispuesto a dormir de una vez por todas.

El silencio nuevamente se instauro en la habitación. El sueño poco a poco volvió a Saga. Sus parpados se cerraron y su respiración se fue calmando con forme pasaban los minutos.

—Saga…

Entre sueños escucho una voz, a lo mejor estaba confundido.

—Sagaaa… —la breve sacudida que le dieron supo que no era su imaginación —Sagaaa…

"Esto no es de Athena" pensó con pesar.

—¿Qué?

—Me acabo de acordar de algo que dice el maestro cuando vi que te estabas quedando dormido —Saga no hablo, solamente miro fijamente al techo con sus ojitos entrecerrados —Dice que tú y yo parecemos un par de ángeles cuando dormimos. Pero que somos un par de demonios cuando estamos en pie. —arrugo la frente, con aires pensativos —¿Crees que somos malvados?

—No sé, Kanon. —esa frase ya la había repetido varias veces esa noche. Se encogió de hombros, ya que, mejor se resignaba a que no iba a dormir —Supongo que es cuestión de elección. Tu escoges que camino elegir y cómo quieres vivir tu vida. Además, somos solo niños, hacemos travesuras solo por divertirnos, no por maldad.

Kanon asintió, procesando las palabras con velocidad. Aunque una duda le hizo tripas corazón y un brillo peligroso que anunciaba un raudal de lágrimas se instaló en su verde mirada. Agradeció a los Dioses que estuviese oscuro y su gemelo no pudiera ver su estado actual.

—Si yo de grande eligiera el camino de la maldad. —empezó, trago saliva —Pero espero que no pase ¿Aun así me querrías?

—Si, Kanon, si… Yo te querría con todo y tu maldad. —Kanon arrugo la frente, Saga ya solo le respondía nada más porque tenía que hacerlo —Ya cállate y duérmete. —rogo internamente que al fin acabara esa conversación que no lo estaba llevando a ningún lado mas que al de preguntas interminables.

—Saga…

—¿Te digo algo, Kanon? Estas haciendo que empiece a odiar mi nombre. —respondió mirando al menor de reojo con molestia, deseando que pudiera sentir su pesada mirada, pero el otro soltó otra jodida pregunta.

—¿Nunca me dejaras solo? ¿Verdad, hermano?

—Lamentablemente no, jamás te dejare solo.

—Sagaa…

—¡¿Qué, Kanon?! ¡¿Qué?! —dijo alzando levemente la voz, dándose la vuelta por completo para mirar a ese rostro tan idéntico al suyo.

—Aunque no te lo digo muy seguido yo, yo te quiero mucho, hermano. —murmuró Kanon, tomando con delicadeza las manos de Saga, entrelazándolas con las suyas, dándole ligeras caricias en el dorso de la mano con los pulgares —Te quiero muchísimo.

Le sonrió con tanta ternura, que Saga se quedo sin habla y su enojo se fue tan rápido como un colibrí en plena huida. Su corazón palpitaba emocionado en su pecho pues desde que tenia memoria, Kanon no le había dicho algo así, con tanto sentimiento, con tanto cariño.

—Ah… —trago saliva, un poco nervioso. Saga también lo quería, era su hermano, pero era bien sabido que no era muy bueno en demostrar su afecto de esa manera. El lo demostraba con acciones, con defenderlo de los que le querían hacer daño, no con un te quiero dicho de sus propios labios —Ah… Ok. —"Menudo hermano has venido a ser" le reprocho su conciencia. Carraspeo un poco y le dio un pequeño apretón, antes de unir su frente a la de Kanon —Yo… Yo…

—Lo sé, Saga, no necesitas decir más. —murmuro —Se que eres más seco que un desierto —el mayor no respondió, sabia que era verdad lo que salía de labios del menor —Se que me quieres. —la sonrisa tierna se desdibujo para mostrar una picara y traviesa mueca —Es imposible no quererme.

Saga se mordió los labios para no carcajearse, se imaginaba perfectamente a su hermano en una pose altanera al decir esas palabras, pero como ahora estaba acostado le era imposible realizarla.

—Descansa, Saga. —sus ojitos poco a poco se fueron cerrando, el cansancio al fin había ganado la batalla.

—Descansa, Kanon. —le respondió Saga, apartando un mechón del rostro de su gemelo.

«… Los hermanos menores también tiene el poder de desarmarte con unas cuantas palabras, porque lo dicen con una fuerza arrolladora difícil de ignorar.»

Era un sueño. Lo sabía. Un ser humano jamás volaría por las nubes esponjosas y blancas sin necesidad de un aparato moderno. A esas alturas, Saga podía ver los verdes prados, las casas y las diminutas personas que le señalaban asombrados. Las aves de bellos colores le acompañaban en su travesía por los cielos, cantando alegres tonadas.

Se sentía libre. El viento acariciaba su rostro, sus manos, todo su cuerpo.

Pero eso acabo. Algo lo golpeo con fuerza en las piernas. Intento gritar, pero no pudo, unas manos cadavéricas le tomaron del cuello. Miro hacia todos lados en busca de ayuda, pero lo que sus ojos vieron le dejaron helado.

Las aves que le hacían compañía no eran mas que cuervos y buitres, en sus picos había restos de carne, y su plumaje negro estaba salpicado por manchas de sangre. El olor le llegaba hasta sus fosas nasales que no pudo evitar asquearse.

Pero lo que vio a sus pies fue peor. No estaba en los cielos azules, ya no. No supo en qué momento descendió al suelo ni en qué momento llego a una especie de templo que le recordaba vagamente al templo del patriarca. Horrorizado contemplo que ahí había restos humanos, personas desconocidas que tenían tatuado en su rostro un extremo terror. Aun poseían ojos, algunos solamente uno pues esas aves carroñeras se posaban sobre ellos y se los arrancaban de un solo movimiento.

Sentía que le miraban, a pesar de estar muertos. Sentía que le veían, aunque en algunos solo había un par de cuencas vacías. Podía sentir su temor, angustia, tristeza y odio. Odio hacia él.

Había cuerpos de niños, mujeres, ancianos, hombres… Shion estaba ahí, junto a su maestro Aram. Cerro los ojos con fuerza al contemplar una mata de cabellos azules no muy lejos de él.

Saga…

Las lagrimas bajaban lentamente por sus mejillas sin clemencia. Las manos que antes le sostenían le dejaron caer sobre. Soltó un quejido cuando su cuerpo impacto con la fría losa, se negó abrir los ojos cuando le jalaron fuertemente de cabello, haciendo que quedara de rodillas.

—Mírate…

La voz, cargada de burla, le hizo temblar de pies a cabeza. Le sacudió con violencia. Saga se asió de la mano que le apresaba.

—¡Mírate!

Entreabrió sus ojos con lentitud, frente a él estaba un espejo, en el reflejo se podían apreciar los cuerpos que estaban a sus espaldas. Quería gritar, quería salir de ahí.

El hombre le sostenía con fuerza sonreía con maldad pura, vestía ropajes sagrados que solo estaban designados al patriarca. La túnica blanca estaba teñida de sangre. Sus ojos se posaron en el rostro de ese ser que no podía ser un humano, era un monstruo. Sus ojos eran azules con destellos rojizos, sus cabellos largos hasta la cintura del negro más oscuro que había contemplado en su corta vida. En esa mirada no solo había maldad, había locura, odio. Un conjunto de emociones que jamás alcanzaría a nombrarlas.

—¿Qué soy, Saga? —le pregunto aquel ser. Los cuervos y buitres chillaron gustosos al sonido de su voz.

Volvió a cerrar los ojos, deseando despertar de esa pesadilla. El penetrante olor a sangre le mareaba, sentía que si abría la boca echaría todo el desayuno, almuerzo y cena.

Un nuevo golpe le hizo estremecerse.

—¿Qué soy, Saga? —soltó un gemido lastimero cuando fue lanzado con fuerza al frente, sus manos se extendieron por inercia para impedir que su cara chocara con el piso, pero la lisa superficie del espejo le recibió —¡¿Qué soy, Saga?! —grito con voz demandante, podía sentir como el espejo, el suelo y los candelabros se estremecían.

Los golpes iban en aumento.

Saga…

—¡¿Qué soy?!

—¡No lo sé! ¡No lo sé! —respondió Saga, llorando con más fuerza.

El silencio cayo en la estancia, solamente sus sollozos se escuchaban. Los infernales pajarracos se habían quedado en silencio.

Creyéndose libre de la presencia de ese hombre, abrió los ojos.

Grito con fuerza e intento alejarse del espejo, arrastrándose lejos del pasillo, ignorando que sus manos y ropa se estaban manchando de sangre.

Saga…

El hombre en el espejo era él mismo, solo que su cabello era azul y sus ojos verdes. Era él, con la ropa del patriarca manchada en sangre.

—Soy tú. —le respondió su reflejo, su cabello se tornó negro y sus ojos perdieron su color para hacerse rojos como la misma sangre que estaba a sus pies —Somos nosotros.

Saga intento gritar, pero unas manos le taparon la boca.

—Somos caos, somos decadencia, somos destrucción, somos dolor, somos muerte, somos la guerra…��siguió hablando su reflejo. Saga sentía que se asfixiaba —Somos un Dios —un nuevo golpe con mas fuerza le ataco —Eres yo, yo soy tu. —algo le estaba empujando, su alrededor se empezó a disolver con rapidez, el espejo empezó a deshacerse, el hombre de cabellos negros sonrió —Somos Ares.

El hombre desapareció. Al igual que el suelo en el que estaba.

Empezó a caer. Caía en un pozo donde no se veía fondo. Mas un fuerte tirón le detuvo.

Solo su trasero impacto con el suelo, su espalda no llego a ello. Saga abrió los ojos de par en par, el grito que no pudo soltar en esa pesadilla al fin escapo de su garganta. Las lágrimas bajaron por sus mejillas sin detenerse. Boqueo un par de veces para respirar aire puro, aun podía sentir el metálico aroma de la sangre en su nariz.

Parpadeo un par de veces, mirando a su alrededor con temor de ver algún indicio que ese ser hubiese salido de sus sueños para atormentarlo en la vida real. No había nada. Solamente estaba él en el suelo, a un lado de la cama.

—Me caí. —se dijo, con voz pastosa.

Arrugo la frente y se limpió el sudor y lágrimas con su mano libre, alzo la vista y atónito contemplo como Kanon sostenía con fuerza su mano a pesar de estar dormido profundamente. No se había despertado con el grito que soltó.

Kanon se aferraba a él como si fuera a morir en caso de no hacerlo. Esa simple acción le impidió caer por completo al suelo.

—Saga…

La voz que escuchaba apenas audible en sus sueños se hizo más clara, más cercana, más real. Era Kanon, él le llamaba.

—Sagaa…

La angustia a la que había sido sometido le sobrepaso. Su corazón bombeaba alocadamente y su respiración agitada lo demostraba. Miro con dificultad el reloj que colgaba en la pared.

01:40 AM

Apenas tenían treinta minutos de haberse quedado dormidos.

—Sagaaa….

—¡¿Qué?! ¡¿Qué, Kanon?! ¡¿Qué?! —grito, sin ocultar su angustia. Con dificultad se puso de pie, pues, aunque intento soltarse del agarre de hierro del menor no pudo. Se trepo a la cama y lucho por mostrar una cara de molestia. Su hermano despertó.

Kanon le miro con ojos adormilados, intentando transmitirle calma.

—Yo siempre te cuidare. —hablo de nuevo el menor, antes de cerrar los ojos dijo otra cosa, que hizo sonreír solo un poquito al mayor —Y ya me dormí… —cayo dormido, dando ligeros ronquiditos.

Se quedo profundamente dormido, sosteniendo con fuerza la mano de Saga junto a su corazón.

No le soltaría, nunca.

Los años habían pasado sin demora alguna. Y el maldito sueño de Saga se hizo verdad.

Varias guerras se habían protagonizado en ese magnifico lugar. El Santuario había sido testigo de tantas batallas a lo largo de los siglos, algunas más dolorosas que otras.

La estatua de Athena había sido muda testigo de tanto dolor, tanta sangre derramada, tantas injusticias. A sus pies se había finalizado una guerra tan sangrienta entre su propia Orden que aun dolía no solo a ella, si no a todos aquellos que también estuvieron presentes.

Ese joven que albergaba tantos sueños y esperanzas, que era el mas noble de sus Santos y por desgracia era la reencarnación de su mas temible hermano, se quito la vida sin dudarlo. Saga de Géminis.

Ahora era testigo del inicio de otra Guerra Santa contra el Dios Hades. No perdonaría, no, no lo haría. El señor del Inframundo conocería su ira por usar a sus Santos como títeres, ni nada ni nadie impediría que ajustara cuentas con su Tío. Saori, su reencarnación, haría temblar a ese dios por tales actos.

Intento transmitirles fuerzas a sus Santos, en especial a aquel que yacía arrodillado frente a un charco de sangre.

Saga contemplo con infinita tristeza ese lugar donde antes estuvo el cuerpo de Saori. Sin necesidad de palabras, Aioria, Mu, Kanon y Milo comprendieron todo. El porqué de su desesperación de llegar ante la princesa, su determinación al luchar y sin mostrar piedad acababan con todo a su paso.

Lo entendieron.

Les ayudaron a sanar lo mas que pudieron sus heridas, aun les faltaba una cosa. Debian llevar el cuerpo de su Diosa al castillo de Hades y, si es que tenían suerte, matar a Pandora.

Que Athena les ayudase en tan difícil tarea.

Observo como Milo y Camus hablaban, despidiéndose. Como Shura lloraba ante Aioria y pedía perdón por haber matado a Aioros. Observo como el Capricornio se deshacía en lloriqueos al ser abrazado por el fiero León.

Shura había matado al arquero por su culpa. Había cumplido sus órdenes. Era Saga el que debería de pedir perdón por sus pecados, por dejar a Aioria sin la protección de su hermano mayor, no Shura.

Saga, el prefería permanecer de rodillas, buscando de manera desesperada ese valor que había escapado de su cuerpo cuando la chiquilla de cabellos morados se había atravesado la garganta con la misma daga que el intento hundir en su pecho cuando solo era una bebé. Tenía tantas cosas por decir, tantos "lo siento" que clamaban por salir de su garganta de manera desesperada.

Pero, su valor se había ido para no volver ¿Cómo mirarlos a los ojos después de tanto daño que hizo? ¿Cómo? ¿Cómo pedirle perdón a Kanon?

Cerro los ojos cuando una sombra se acercó a sus espaldas, fingió no escucharlo cuando susurro su nombre y se hinco a su lado. Ignoro inconfundible aroma y rezo porque se fuera de ahí.

—Debes admitir que ser sirviente de Hades te sienta bien. —Saga se respingo al oírle —Te tiño el pelo de morado. —atrapo uno de sus mechones entre sus dedos, observándolo curioso —Incluso las cejas.

Una imperceptible sonrisa apareció en sus labios, una sonrisa que no pasó desapercibida para Kanon. Sus compañeros se alejaron para darles privacidad, había muchas cosas que se tenían que decir ese par y tan poco tiempo para hacerlo.

Saga abrió los ojos y volvió la vista a Kanon, que sonreía de la misma manera que le sonreía de niño.

—Lo siento. —dijo, derramando un par de lágrimas —Por todo… por…

—No… —le interrumpió, alzando una mano —Yo lo siento… Si no hubiera sido por mi imprudencia y de haberte dejado solo jamás te habría doblegado. —Saga sabia que se refería a Ares —Perdóname por todo… —los ojos de Kanon poco a poco empezaron a llenarse de lagrimas y su voz comenzó a quebrarse —Perdón por haber roto esa promesa que te hice de niño, perdóname por favor. —las lagrimas bajaron sin piedad por sus mejillas y los sollozos al fin surgieron. Bajo la vista al suelo.

Yo siempre te cuidare…

—Kanon…

En el reloj de fuego, una llama se extinguió. Ya no tenían tanto tiempo.

Saga tomo la mano de Kanon, haciendo lo mismo que hizo el menor aquella noche de tormenta.

—Kanooon… —dijo con voz cantarina, o eso intento… Parecía el sonido de un gato viejo cuando maullaba.

El menor le miro, sin dejar de llorar.

—Kanooon…

Kanon sonrió, recordó aquella noche donde busco cobijo en los brazos de su hermano y este, a pesar de que sabia lo fastidioso que era, acepto.

—¿Qué? —le respondió, acariciando el dorso de las manos de Saga, que le hacía lo mismo.

—Aunque no te lo digo muy seguido, yo te quiero mucho, hermano. —el llanto de Saga ya no era por la tristeza, era por alegría. Le agradecía tanto a Athena por brindarle esos momentos, tanto, tanto —Te quiero muchísimo, Kanon.

El corazón de Kanon brinco alegre y sin esperar un segundo mas abrazo a Saga, intentando no lastimarlo. Se aferro a él y se grabo a fuego en su mente el cómo se sentía su calor, su aroma, lo suave de su cabello que le picaba la mejilla. Al morir, su ultimo recuerdo seria ese abrazo, esas palabras, esa mirada donde había un sentimiento sincero. Ese "te quiero" iría con él hasta el fin del mundo en caso de ser necesario.

Saga le correspondió el abrazo, un poco sorprendido pues no estaba acostumbrado a esa muestra de cariño.

—Ah… —dijo Kanon, apartándose, recordando ciertas palabras —Ah… Ok… —no hizo nada falta más, Saga lo comprendió de inmediato.

Soltó una carcajada.

—Lo sé, Kanon, no necesitas decir más. —le respondió, siguiéndole el juego —Se que me quieres. —se puso de pie, siendo seguido por Kanon. Una vez erguido se llevo una mano a la cintura y la otra se la llevo al mentón, acariciando su labio. Una sonrisa picara un poco parecida a la de Kanon curvo su boca y le guiño un ojo —Es imposible no quererme.

Ignoraron las miradas perplejas de sus camaradas al verlos reír.

Las despedidas fueron dolorosas, tenían que finalizar su misión. Avanzaron los siete en dirección a Aries, para cruzar la barrera de Athena. En brazos de Saga yacía la manta con la sangre de la Diosa.

En cuanto llegaron al límite, Kanon, Mu, Milo y Aioria se quedaron atrás, con todo el dolor de su corazón los vieron partir.

La otra dimensión de Saga se abrió ante sus ojos, miles de estrellas brillaban saludándoles. El mayor de los tres del lamento dio un paso al frente.

—Sagaaa… —el mayor le miro sobre su hombro, Kanon portaba la armadura de Géminis—Te quiero muchísimo.

—Yo también te quiero, Kanon. —dijo, sonriéndole. Camus y Shura entraron junto a él —Te quiero muchísimo, hermanito… Y estoy tan orgulloso de ti.

Los tres desaparecieron. A lo lejos, el reloj de fuego mostraba que solo quedaba menos de una hora.

Kanon contemplo las montañas por donde saldría el sol dentro de poco, sus ojos empañados en lagrimas fueron ignorados por los demás. Un cosmos a lo lejos capto su atención. Se alejo de los tres jóvenes caballeros dorados.

—Yo también estoy tan orgulloso de ti, Saga. —murmuro en voz baja, emprendiendo camino a buscar a Dohko.

Un par de avecillas canto a lo lejos.

Sonrió. Era un buen día para morir.

Siempre cuidare de ti.

Maggie.

I let a box fall on top of another as I sighed, looking at my sister across the room and placing my hand on my hip.

"That's all of them" I said, checking my watch. My sister moving in the middle of my wedding planning wasn't ideal, but at least now I had her to help me from here, even though we weren't really that behind on anything.

My aunt Martha gave Donald the money for my wedding cake, even though I asked her not to do it. Earlier in the week I picked the cake, just a simple one with three floors, still, the cake tasting was today and I needed to pick up the samples, Don had already told me he couldn't make it, so I had to pick them up and take them home for tasting tonight.

I had pushed the dress fitting until today because I didn't wanted to get stuffed with cake before having the fit, but Ramona had warned me, I had to have the dress picked by the end of the week, and I was already half way into it.

Once my sister confirmed that was all, she ushered me to the car and to the BHNLD in Maryland. It took us a while to get there and in the venue I was already pissed off.

I really wasn't picky about anything else except the dress, that was something that got me in a bad mood.

Fortunately, we hadn't been to this venue before and they had dresses from the last season, giving that we were closing in on the next spring-summer releases. I was browsing with my sister while we were being served some champagne. With us were my Aunt Martha, who was like my mother, Sara and Gina, so I felt like I had a good aray of people who had met me in different times of my life.

I had given the helper just one condition, backless. At this point I didn't care if it ended up being a skin tight mermaid style dress, I'd beaten around the bush long enough.

While turning yet another dress, I gasped loudly and my sister came rushing from the other side of the store to me.

"What? Oh Jesus" she said, I took the dress out of the hanger and looked up at it.

"I need to try this one on" I said to the vendor, she gave me a smile and walked me back to the dressing room.

"You might be in luck, this one was going to be taken out of sale next week. "

I replied with a smile and took out my pants and shirt while she helped me into the dress, it was a backless like a wanted, looking at it, it was a seath style dress, and from the waist down it just fell perfectly, the length was ideal too.

She zipped me up and helped me get outside while walking to the step in front of the three mirrors.

My sister just looked at me with a straight face but I could see she was trying to hold back tears, Gina had her hand on her chest and so did Sara. This one might be it.

I brought the shoes I was going to wear to try on with the dress and when I was finally standing in the step and making the dress open up in front of me, I looked up, I looked at myself. I looked at how the dress fell from my waist down, and when the girl tightened it around my figure, I fit perfectly. This dress was fucking beautiful, and I looked beautiful in it.

I'd fallen speechless, I was just looking at it with wide eyes, when I turned around a bit and saw the dress open up and leave my back open down until my lower back, my mouth fell agape, I just couldn't believe how good this dress was.

When the dress was tight on my body, the girl moved to expand the dress to it's full length around me, it was big, but surprisingly light, and it had a considerable long train, not too long or too short. Fuck me I loved this dress.

"Mags you look beautiful" I heard my sister say with a little voice. I smiled and looked at her through the mirror, she was crying.

"Maddie don't cry" I said, feeling my eyes fill up with tears. I looked at myself again. I pulled my hair up in the simple hairstyle I was going to have for my wedding and looked again at how I would look for the big day.

"Do you like that one?" My sister asked again, I saw her clean her cheeks from the mirror in front of me.

I grabbed the dress to my sides and moved it around, I felt like a five year old twirling her dress around, seeing how it moved.

"Yes, I love this one" I said looking up at her. I felt nervous, I had a knot in my stomach. "I'm getting married in this dress"

My sister clapped happy and stood up, walking up to me as I walked down the steps carefully, then she hugged me, I heard her sniff away her tears as she held me.

"Do you think Don will like it?" I said, Madison looked at me with a smile.

"He better, you look amazing in it, and you aren't even dolled up, when we get you the make up and the jewelry, the nails, the hair, you'll be a dream come true"

I paid for the dress and the vendors had warned me about not pulling anymore weight, since the dress fitted perfectly with my figure the way it was now.

While walking out, my sister told me she would keep the dress in her place, avoiding Don seeing it before the wedding, and on the way back to the house I picked up the samples and a suit I'd gotten Don just because. He had been given me so many gifts and surprises lately I had to give something back.

I opened the door of my house with a big smile, the image of my dress on me still on my mind.

"Donnie?" I called, hopping he would be here

"Kitchen" I heard him reply. I took of my heels in the entrance and walked in, leaving the platter and the suit on the table.

He turned to greet me but instead I jumped to his arms, downing my lips to his while I held him by the neck.

"I got it" I said over his lips, he walked me to the kitchen table and sat me on top of it.

"You got what?" He said touching my waist while giving me a short kiss.

"I got my dress." I kissed him again "and I don't owe you a thousand goddamn dollars alright?"

He chuckled against my lips and pulled me in closer.

"I'll believe it when I see it" he leaned me back on the table again and kept his lips on mine.

I complained and pulled back, moving to the side and away from his grip.

"Nope, we can't do this now, we need to eat all of this cake" I opened the paper that wrapped the tray "and we need to pick, so, get a few spoons and let's get to it"

He walked back to the kitchen and got a few spoons for us along with water. While we tasted the first little piece I made conversation.

"So what did you do today Agent Ressler?"

He shrugged and gave me a twist of lips

"Nothing, went around talking to people, caught a guy who stole identities and killed researchers." He spooned the next piece "I don't like that one" he said

"It's got" I took the card and read it "it's got cream and strawberries with walnuts."

"I hate walnuts" he said, I smiled and spooned the next one with him.

"And how are you on getting Agnes back?"

"Mm" he hummed "Liz is working another angle with Reddington, they flew to Ginebra hoping to get the drop on him but Kirk seems to be two steps ahead" he lamented. "I never thought it would take us so long to get him, it's been a month, more than a month"

"The lemon one, it's to die for" I was already halfway into the pieces while Don talked. "He's a slippery one, but you guys will get him. Working on different angles help to cover all bases"

His phone rang, and he looked down at it with a frown.

"Ressler" he said while picking up. His eyes moved around and then he leaned back in the chair "right, Aram's friend" he looked at me with a little complicit smile. I leaned to him and he leaned to me to let me hear the conversation.

"I was wondering if you knew what kind of take out restaurants Aram usually orders from. I want to surprise him with dinner tonight"

He gave me a look, and I quickly mouthed.

"Paco's Taco's?" He asked trying to make out what I said. He listened a bit more and then nodded and pointed at me "yeah, ginger beer, he loves that" I nodded and gave him a thumbs up "I'm glad I could help" he said, then hung up.

"That's kind of cheating though, like I didn't have anyone to bother when I was trying to get with you" I jokingly complained, leading another piece of cake to my mouth.

"It didn't take much" he said looking at me, he chuckled and leaned his hand to me "you've got cream all over your face" he ran his thumb on my lower lip, and before he could pull back I held his hand and licked the cream off his thumb.

I saw his pupils turn as he looked at me, I gave him a little smirk and took my spoon back.

"I'm taking you to bed right now" he said, I chuckled and motioned at the pieces of cake.

"Let's pick three, then we head up."

"You pick two then, I'm not a big fan of cake anyway"

"I want the double chocolate one and the tiramisu, and you want-" I lingered, waiting for him to finish.

"Lime and coconut" he said, then leaned to me and held me by the legs, pulling me up from the chair

"Ew" I complained while leaning to his lips

"Ew what?"

"I don't like coconut"

"It's my side of the cake, don't eat it" he said, leading his lips to mine again and walking us to the couch.

Ressler.

I hadn't gotten word that I needed to go to the Post office today, and given by yesterdays mess with Le Bron, I intended to spend the day in, helping Mags and her sister unpack everything in their new home.

We had everything on schedule, wedding wise. Ramona just needed to set up the finishing touches and we just had to wait for the day.

At 6:30 the doorbell rang, and when I opened it I was greeted with a delivery guy.

"Nick's Pizza" he said, handing me a box. I frowned and took it, looking down at it while I walked to the kitchen.

Mags skipped the stairs and walked to the kitchen with me while I opened the box and found an envelope stuck to the lid.

"It's 6:45 am and you ordered a pizza?" She asked.

"I didn't order anything" I said motioning at the envelope as I opened it "it's from Reddington"

"Oh" she lamented "I was hoping since you had your day off you could help me with the-" she stopped to gasp loudly, looking at the envelope. "oh, my, god, I need this" she declared.

"What?"

"That wax seal. I need to get one I wanna feel like the pope"

I chuckled, looking down at her and pulling her from the waist to kiss her temple

"Like the pope" I repeated while laughing. "Okay baby you get one today and when I come back tonight we'll set them up for tomorrow alright?"

"On it" she said taking out her phone and quickly opening her browser. I looked at her with dreamy eyes, I loved how spontaneous she was. "what?" She asked still looking at the phone, knowing that I was looking at her "does that make me sound ridiculous? Wait until you hear how much time I spent on the calligraphy for the envelopes"

I chuckled and quickly jogged upstairs to get a jacket, seeing that it was almost time.

"One Express delivery for a costume wax seal with the initials M and D. Should be here" she quickly looked at her phone while I opened the front door for her "in 8 hours. Perfect" she said giving me one fast kiss on the lips. "Have fun today, hope you get closer to her Agnes back, so you can rest" she silently stroked my chest while still close to me.

"Me too, I'll see you tonight"

It was a slow day, and finding out that Aram's girlfriend was a spy, that she'd backed into our system, that wasn't nice for Aram. After we got out confirmation on Kirk, Reddington told us to stand down from this, and there was nothing else for us to do.

I got back home and from the front door I could see Mags sitting on the kitchen table, going through the invitations, looking at them. She turned her head to me as I walked

"Hey" she saluted "any luck?"

"Apparently so, Liz is going to get in touch with us tomorrow, she has a meeting with Kirk tonight"

"Mm" she hummed

"And by the way" I said taking out my jacket and sitting next to her. "you'll have to delete Aram's plus one, his girlfriend is a spy"

"Yeah well, she might not be the only one" she said with a little smirk.

I looked at her while she gave me a mischievous look and continued folding the invitations.

"You have a tell, and you suck at lies"

"A tell? What tell?"

"You hide your hands when you lie"

She looked down at her hands and frowned.

"I do?" I nodded and took a handful of envelopes, taking the folded invitations and placing one in each. "Is it annoying when you find out I'm lying?"

"A little. But I know you don't do it because you like lying to me. You do it to not bother me" Maggie gave me a twist of lips and opened a little package, pulling out the wax seal and the wax sticks.

"I'm sorry" she said.

"Don't be" she stood up and looked in the kitchen for a lighter.

I handed her one of the invitations in the envelope, she wrote on of her sister's name in a very elaborate font, then she turned it around and burned a little bit of wax on it, pressing the seal before it cooled down.

She took it out and placed a hand on her chest, leaning back on the chair in exaggeration.

"I love it" she said looking down at the seal "I feel like the king in the north"

I chuckled, and we spent a good two hours doing the invitations.

"It's almost time" she said while we were nearing down on the last 10 "are you ready to get married Agent Ressler?"

"I am" I said giving her a quick look and a smile "are you nervous?"

"I'm..." I saw her scratch her head as she leaned forward on the table, stoping for a minute "I'm a little scared"

"Scared of what?" I held her hand and looked at her with a frown, she gave me a little twist of lips.

"I don't know" she avoided my gaze while she held her face with her closed fist "it's just that... Sometimes I think about what you do and... It's scary" she shrugged and finally looked at me "the uncertainty"

I moved to cup her cheek and brought her closer, she took her hand off her cheek and placed it on top of mine.

"Mags, we both know this isn't going to be easy. But there are people who work on what I work on and have a normal life, with a normal family. I'm going to try my hardest to avoid you getting caught up with my work, you and our future family. You don't have to worry about it"

"Those people don't work with Raymond" she said, it was my time to give her a twist of lips, because she was right about that one.

"But" she said leaning in to me with a smile "I knew I was signing up for a challenge" she kissed my lips shortly and I half smiled against them.

I loved this woman, I really did. And I'm going to do anything in my power to never, ever lose her.
